The comprehensive world of electronic products, Samsung, has joined
hand with a Russian based technology company, Yandex, to show Yandex’s
Television widget along with access to its online servies, all over the
Russia and the CIS on Samsang smart television services.
Companies’ agreement came forward on Monday in Moscow, Russia. The agreement details are as followed:
Yandex default homepage will be dedicated for Samsung Smart TV subscribers;
Yandex will be the default search engine;
Yandex services will available on Samsung smartphones like Samsung Bada 2.0;
“Subscribers will be the eventual beneficiaries”, says Sergey Pevnev, Samsung Electronics Director.
In addition, “the partnership will help Samsung Bada 2.0 and other users to stay up-to-date with latest information, news and events with Yandex application.”
On the other hand the Operational Marketing Director Elena Dobrokhotova at Yandex said, “Now its time to further more from computing and the strategic agreement with Samsung is the first officially step.”
He further narrated, “now we are many levels ahead from the computing internet, now through smarphones, mobile devices, and game consoles people can browse internet. Samsung and Yandex partnership is the next step in this field to facilitate users with new era technology.”
